I’d like to try and explain some of the reasons why I do what I do, why my photography is a way of life, why every wedding matters to me, and why I still get as excited today about a new project, as I did when I first started.
I’ve been photographing weddings since 1990 and the early years were an amazing training ground in the respected and established William McCallum Studio where I became an associate. The studio had a reputation for excellence which meant that I learned from the best - I still use those carefully learned techniques every time I frame a photograph. It’s all part of the art-form!
In 1998 it was time to branch out and establish my own reputation. Since then, I have chosen to concentrate on wedding photography, and have photographed hundreds of weddings in Ayrshire, Glasgow and further afield.
